Four Tet x Caribou

On August 3rd, Domino Records is going to release a 12" with remixes of "Angel Echoes," the third single from Four Tet's stunningly beautiful album There Is Love In You.  Dan Snaith, better known as Caribou, has been enlisted for one of the remixes, and for me this is a wet dream of a collaboration.  Snaith takes Four Tet's airy and delicate album opener and warps it into a brooding, club-ready whirlwind of a track that displays the same intricate production and rich palette of sounds that had me listening to his album Swim nonstop for a month.  Caribou's sound perfectly complements the original, and the only thing I dislike about the track is that it's making me crave more collaborative efforts between these two brilliant producers.  So give it a listen, let me know what you think, and buy the remix package when it comes out!  And I'll give you the original "Angel Echoes," too, in case you haven't heard it yet.
