I think "Freedom Fries" is the PC name nowadays
I know that as an American, it's my duty to loath all things from France, but I just can't do it. I love French toast, French maids, and above all French Fries, a rising young Parisian producer who's caught my attention lately. A far cry from the electro and filter house that his compatriots are so famous for, his music is an artfully crafted blend of big room bass, globetrotting percussion grooves, and hypnotizing melodies. "Senta," from his Arma EP on Youngunz, is a frenetic track with a chopped vocal sample that grabs you by the balls and doesn't let you go until the end, while "Saurus Rhythm" is a fairly restrained bongo-driven track with a massive rolling bassline that gives it just the right amount of energy and low-end oomph. To round things out, he's also produced stellar remixes for the likes of Major Lazer (a huge feat considering the number of lifeless ML remixes last year) and We Have Band. There should be something here for everybody, so enjoy!
